Creating a Community of Belonging

Just Like Me Foundation is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for teens and young adults with special needs. The organization provides a welcoming environment where participants can connect with others, develop friendships, enjoy new experiences, and feel like an active part of their community. Its programs are designed for young people between the ages of 13 and 24.

Activities Throughout the Year

The foundation organizes a variety of after-school, weekend, and summer activities throughout the year. Participants can enjoy movie nights, bowling, dances, beach bonfire gatherings, paddle boarding, sporting events, and many other social experiences. Each activity provides an opportunity to have fun while spending time with peers in a supportive environment.

Friendship, Fun and New Experiences

Social activities can play an important role in building confidence and developing lasting connections. Just Like Me Foundation encourages participants to discover new interests, try different activities, and create positive memories with friends. The focus is on inclusion, participation, and making every experience enjoyable and meaningful.

Supporting Young People and Their Families

Through its programs and community-focused approach, Just Like Me Foundation works to ensure that teens and young adults with special needs have opportunities to socialize, participate, and build relationships. By bringing people together throughout the year, the foundation helps create a stronger, more connected community where everyone has a place to belong.
